I am an experienced broadcaster across both radio and television, commenting on relationship issues and advising listeners on phone-ins. I also help features editors and broadcast producers develop ideas for relationship programmes.
– I have worked for, among others, Woman’s Hour, Radio Five Live, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC World Service.
– My consultancy work regularly includes radio days in which I broadcast to a wide range of commercial and BBC stations on news items and for product campaigns.
– For two years I co-presented Sex in the City, a weekly two-hour advice phone-in on LBC radio, the most-listened-to programme in Britain in that time slot.
– I’m a Professional Associate of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists, and an Associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine, on whose Council for Sexuality and Sexual Health I serve. I’m also an Ambassador for Relate Cambridge, and a Patron of the Outsiders charity. I’ve been named as one of the Family Planning Association‘s 21st Century Achievers and have also won a number of awards for my work, including being named UK Dating Expert of the Year at the UK Dating Awards.
Gareth Evans, Radio Presenter: I have worked with Susan on more than a dozen radio stations, beginning with Century FM’s ‘Sort Your Life Out’ when she was the listeners’ resident big sister (and part of the station’s most successful RAJAR daypart). She has become the go to girl for anything about relationships, and not just the slushy, love or messy divorce topics but relationships between co-workers, employers and employees, friends and family. Susan’s real skill is tailoring her advice and responses to the target audience of the station.
